Leaf: We had some rain last night. It's been so hot lately but this morning was so nice and cool that I went for a long walk to begin the day. It is like the whole city is laughing again, everything is easy when the weather is nice. (Varanasi, India)

Rae: The mountains have been beautiful lately, now that the green grasses are back and the clouds play overhead. (Pai, Thailand)

Leaf: These two friends after another full afternoon of imagining one thousand adventures together. (Varanasi, India)

Rae: I wanted to show you something of the effect of the military coup here in Pai, but I haven't seen any military, and other than things being closed at night for curfew, there hasn't been all that much impact. But then I saw this TV, which is the spot where many people gather whenever anything of interest is happening in Thailand, protest clashes, earthquakes, whatever. Now it's just turned off, because the military shut down the news stations and though there are interesting things going on, there is no way to watch them. (Pai, Thailand)
