I Wanted to Tell You...

(A Friendship in Pictures)

November 30, 2014

by Rachel Ford

Leaf: A shop full of brass instruments. My favourite was this old saxophone. (Annandale, Australia)

Rae: I was just thinking that you haven't experienced Pai in the crazy high season yet, so you probably haven't seen this statue fellow. He stands close to the end of my street, a different color every day, and lets people paint on him. Until last year Solo thought he was a real statue. (Pai, Thailand)

Leaf: The Anarchist Library for the anarchist in all of us…and with a secret message…'I miss you'. Look closely and you'll see B & I in the reflection. (Enmore, Australia)

Rae: Do you remember the friends I told you about, who came to meditation sometimes last year? Well, they just landed back in town and I came upon them singing on the walking street the other day. Yay! (Pai, Thailand)

Rae: This is the home of a dear, dear friend, one of the prettiest places I've ever seen. Chinua and I slept under the stars (and down blankets-it's getting chilly) on sofas in the backyard. Beautiful. (Ojai, USA)
