Leaf: I'm contemplating tiny little things in the Newborn Monastary, like little toes and feet that are so small that even the teeniest Indian anklets fall off them. (Yarramundi, Australia)

Rae: It's my favorite kind of tree, with the morning light just behind it. This world is more beautiful than I ever expect it will be. (Chiang Mai, Thailand)

Leaf: The passion fruit flower- it has to be one of the most spectacular flowers on earth. A gift from my gorgeous husband. (Yarramundi, Australia)

Rae: The Dream Is Now. It's a message for us. This work of art of a house was very close to where Chinua lived when he was around twelve. (Detroit, USA)

Leaf: We checked out the art class at Pitalu. (Pai, Thailand)

Rae: This was a hug that was a long time coming. Dori is my very dearest friend all the way from high school. We traveled and lived together for years and I love her so, but I haven't seen her for eight years. What a beautiful day when I finally saw her (and her beautiful family) again! (Blaine, USA)

Leaf: In Laos, to be a 'real man' you have to know how to weave baskets, so Taran took a weaving class. (Luang Prabang, Laos)

Rae: I went to Vancouver to pick Kai and Kenya up from the Greyhound bus station after camp, and I had an hour or so to wait, so I walked into a lovely little café for a coffee. Soon after, a woman approached me and said she was a photographer and wanted to take my photo because I had a looked very Something something. I think she didn't know what the word was. "Look down," she told me. "And then look up with only your eyes." This is the result. Oh dear. (Vancouver, Canada)
