Leaf: We've been looking around at furniture places here. I thought this was beautiful but it was also too expensive; luckily for us we love sitting on simple cushions on the floor. (Chiang Mai, Thailand)

Leaf: I went on a walk through suburbia in the middle of the day and happened to find this enchanting lantern shop. It was like another world inside…like stepping into the wardrobe and discovering Narnia. An old lady was sitting on the floor making the lantern tails. (Chiang Mai, Thailand)

Rae: These toadstools, made of sticks and coconut shells, called to be photographed as I passed them on my motorbike. So I pulled over and obliged. (Pai, Thailand)

Leaf: This is a country with dragons everywhere…and golden temples. It's the stuff of storybooks and the little girl in me loves it. (Chiang Mai, Thailand)

Rae: Our family has a long-standing dreadlock shampoo sculpture tradition. (Pai, Thailand)

Leaf: There are so many flowers here that hang like decorations on a Christmas tree. (Pai, Thailand)

Leaf: My job every morning is plaiting Brendan's dreadlocks but this morning I added some flowers. (Pai, Thailand)

Rae: I really love the learning that goes on at my house. (Pai, Thailand) 

Leaf: I walk past this scooter every day and think to myself "I'd have to agree." (Pai, Thailand)

Rae: I told you about the pedicure on this tough market dog, and I just had to show you. I think she feels the humiliation, or maybe she preferred the purple from last month. (Pai, Thailand)
