Rae: At sunset many travelers set up a small market selling macrame and silver jewelry on the beach. They can't open until 6:30, though, so that leaves plenty of time for a fast-paced game of soccer.

Leaf: This is my Uncle Ji in his gorgeous old fashioned shop. I often buy a few red bangles but today I bought a little silver mirror to keep in my purse (it cost 4 rupees). (Varanasi, India)

Leaf: Pati-Patni (husband-wife). Maybe they're like me and my husband, he's tidy, organised and careful while she's flicked off her golden shoes and is ready to embrace whatever moment is waiting for her. (Varanasi, India)

Rae: I took this photo (Oh Indian women! I love your colors!) moments before this lady took the opportunity to hitch a ride with me. Giving rides to women in saris is one of my favorite Indian pastimes. (Korgao, India)

Leaf: This baby has a very doting mother. She is using the black makeup to ward off the evil eye and she has obviously just taken him to the temple. But oh his cheeks!! (Varanasi, India)

Rae: One thing I love about being in Goa is the occasional afternoon coffee with Miriam and Johanna on their porch. Miriam always makes macchiato and we eat chocolate from Europe.

Rae: Every sunset, the beach in Arambol is full of people practicing their skills, including these guys and their capoeira. (Arambol, India)

Rae: The other night The Turbans played in Ash for the first time in years, and they called Chinua up to play some of the old songs with them. It was a beautiful moment as I danced in the dark with my kids and was bursting with love for my husband. (Arambol, India)
