Leaf: A very young Bengali bride with her school friends. It is a love-marriage which is blessed by her community so she is happy. (Varanasi, India)

Rae: I think you will understand when I tell you about my pure delight on finding that the jungle house where I lived when Solo was born (where you and I first met) has been turned into a People Tree. I discovered it driving by, and walked into the shop in a daze, finding that they had renovated it and filled every room with beautiful things. So redemptive! (Assagao, India)

Leaf: Q: What do you do in a city with more than a million people in it and not a single traffic light? A: Ordinary citizens volunteer as impromptu traffic controllers. Today it was this gorgeous garlanded sadhu (holy man) who helped the traffic become un-jammed. (Varanasi, India)

Rae: Confused cows on the beach are my very favorite. (Arambol, India)

Leaf: A wedding for our friends. This was the most stunning event we have ever created here and our friends looked like they stepped out of a Mughal miniature painting. (Varanasi, India)

Rae: We very rarely get a showy sunset in Goa. More often the sun slips behind the marine layer and is simply gone. But the other night we went out to sing on the beach and it was glorious, releasing the most instinctive kind of worship of God. (Arambol, India)

Leaf: Drinking chai in his fanciest wedding outfit. You should have seen him dance later on! (Varanasi, India)

Rae: My porch in the morning. I love writing here when I get the chance. (Not often these days, with a very busy Isaac.) (Arambol, India)

Leaf: Indian femininity has shaped me since I was a little girl. Yellow is the colour of Spring here in India because of the mustard flowers which are in bloom now. (Varanasi, India)

Rae: A beautiful old banyan with seats underneath for sitting and talking. (Keri, India)
