Leaf: This family's house is perpetually guarded. (Varanasi, India)

Rae: I looked all around for straw recently, but no one has any to sell until the next rice harvest. This straw will be used for planting garlic, so no amount of pointing at it and asking to buy some did me any good. (Pai, Thailand)
