Rae: This tree on our street blooms a few times a year, and we can smell the beautiful fragrance of its flowers even in our kitchen or front porch, several houses down. I planted a little one in the meditation space garden. Maybe in a few years it will fill the space with the scent of flowers. (Pai, Thailand) 

Leaf: We took a little time away from moving into our new house to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary at this gorgeous, health laden cafe. (Pai, Thailand)

Rae: I left the meditation space after we had been cooking together to find that someone had decorated my motorbike with flowers. I didn't have to think very hard to figure out who did it. (Pai, Thailand)

Leaf: I like the poetry of my life…that I now live near another river in another place. This river is so different from the Ganga and yet also so beautiful. (Pai River, Thailand)

Rae: This is my favorite kind of morning. Everyone getting creative with their own things. (Pai, Thailand)

Leaf: Did I ever tell you about the time my family lived on jackfruit for a month while I  was growing up? Jackfruit curry, jackfruit jam, roasted jackfruit seeds, ripe jackfruit fruit etc. There's a jackfruit tree in my new garden! (Pai, Thailand)

Rae: I took this at dusk yesterday when you, Chinua, and Miriam were setting up the mats for our worship circle and Brendan was playing with the kids in the garden. It was beautiful. (Pai, Thailand)
